After spending about $500 on half-a$$ lessons by local pros/con men, I decided to give this product a try. It works easily and well. What a surprise. To me, it seems as if the club pro, golf instruction world is populated by dumb jocks who are willing to watch me swing for an hour and then get a $100 bill. "See you next week!" To my mind, these morons either can't express themselves verbally or they don't know how I need to change. Fortunately, I had purchased a gizmo called a "Swing-glyde" a few years back & that helped. To those of you who know the "Swing-glyde", the PPGSTA is similar, but it trains both hands. After training for three weeks at my gym, I got out to the driving range & hit balls. I hit them well & my friends told me that my swing arc looked much better. Formerly, I was suffering from a pull hook, and I tended to lose my balance at the conclusion of the swing. This session, I hit the ball well & didn't lose my balance. Now there were some adjustments I had to make: as any golfers knows, the wedge arc is different from the driver arc. So, if you only practice with one club, you'll suffer some dissonance, but you can work that out at the range. My preference is to clamp the gizmo to the David Ledbetter Swing Setter. I like that because I can take the whole thing to my gym & practice daily without scuffing the floor, or beaning one of the hotties in a bunny suit. The Bottom Line: Buy one. You'll soon have a better looking swing for sure. If you kind of know what you're doing, the odds are that you'll be finding more fairways & greens. If this gem breaks, I'll order another one before I leave the driving range.
