Even though they have more mass appeal than Unwound, Survival Knife delivers plenty of deep cuts on this album. While not as experimental as Justin Trosper's previous work, Loose Power is surprisingly well rounded. The guitar parts sound crisp and have a great tone to them. The later tracks had a political bend to them I was not expecting. I thoroughly enjoyed listening. More people need to hear this.
