I'm 5'6", 138 lbs, dress size 10, ordered a medium based on size chart. It was a struggle (sort of) to get up and on, but once in place, fit nicely. Then I wore it to a wedding and by the end of the night, I could barely breathe, my stomach felt so tight I actually felt sick. I liked the "look" of it under my dress so I ordered another 1 in a large to have for my daughter's wedding next month but could not get them past mid-thigh, a problem I did NOT have w/ the medium. Maybe a mismark??? But talk about tight! I actually bruised my thighs trying to get them up! Noticed they were NOT the same product as the one I had originally bought - odd, altho I clicked on "my orders" and ordered the next size of the previous one. Returned large for an XL, and they were much more comfy, maybe not as much restraint as I'd like in tummy area, but hopefully it'll look good when I go for my gown fitting. If not, back to the drawing board! They will look tiny when you open the package but trust the stretch!! A little bit goes a long way. These did a great job shaping. After 2 kids (currently 6 months postpartum) I have quite a bit of loose skin and this sucked it all in and kept it in place. For reference, I am 5’8” and 165lbs and I ordered a large.I am short-waisted so these came all the way up to the bottom of my bra and could’ve gone higher. I’m not upset about it though because as soon as I tried to scoot it down, the top started rolling. If I kept it all the way at my bra, it didn’t roll at all.Like with all Spanx, they are comfortable when you wear them but as soon as you take them off you realize just how tight they are.I disliked the fit in the back at waist, it curls up and rolls down automatically. A thicker waist band is needed to help it stay I place. Other than that. It is a quality product and I would buy again with this suggested improvementsI wore these under a bridesmaid dress. They did very well - were comfortable, didn’t roll down, gave me enough shaping - until towards the end of the evening when the waistband began to roll down. At that point, I was exhausted from being a bridesmaid (10+ hour day) And it was infuriating.it definitely fit but i do have trouble with it rolling down. i recommend trying to leave the sticky side on your skin but this sort of hard. i also wouldn’t recommend eating a lot with this on lolI ordered a size up, from the size range indicated for my height and weight. Even with that larger size, these spanks were very hard to put on and were too tight. I could hardly breathe.SPANX Women's Higher Power Shorts, Soft Nude, Large VS. Rago Women's Hi Waist Long Leg Shaper, Beige, Large (30)All the wedding dress shopping articles tell you to wear the undergarments you are planning to wear on the day to the fittings, so I ordered shapewear in preparation for my dress fitting appointment. The two main recommendations were SPANX (an obvious choice as this brand has become synonymous with shapewear—like Kleenex and tissue) and Rago. Most of the reviews I read highly recommended Rago so I ordered comparable options in both; high waist and mid thigh.I wasn’t looking for a lot of shaping help. I consider myself very body positive. I love my curves and just wanted to smooth out my silhouette a tad (I mean I am spending a lot of money on pictures and a dress). The Rago are well constructed and beautiful. They have boning and are made of sturdy elastic lace. They also have clasps for stockings which is very cool. They are very difficult to get on and off and I was very worried about ripping the more delicate areas of the lace (I believe they are much sturdier than they appear though). The lace was itchy but not so bad that I believe you wouldn’t get used to it. The boning at the top gives me great confidence that the waist band would not roll down. The tummy panel and the structuring on the sides and back works very well to elevate and compliment your curves. The SPANX are made of a very comfortable elastic material like very thick nylons. They are very comfortable and easy to pull on. They hold everything in place and smooth out the lines of your body without overly changing your silhouette. The waistband has a think gel strip along the top that prevents the top from curling down (I read many reviews that pointed to SPANX having this problem compared to Rago). I moved around a lot while I tried these on to see if the top would roll down and it did not. The thigh section is thicker than the top and I didn’t observe any problems with the ends rolling up either. I believe if you size these correctly you will have no problem with them rolling or sliding out of place. Both pairs of shapewear feature a split crotch so that they do not need to be removed to go to the restroom (I read a few reviews where Rago was recommended for having these, over SPANX so maybe SPANX has recently added this feature). For my needs I will be keeping the SPANX. I prefer less shape help but would highly recommend the RAGO to anyone that feels more comfortable with more support! The SPANX also feel more comfortable to me and I have very sensitive skin (I do believe that people with normal skin would find the Rago brand comfortable but I feel that it will drive me crazy).I am 5'4", 185 lbs., 44" bust, 37" waist, 44" hips, a 36H, and usually opt for an L in shapewear. I got an XL and L in these in the cafe au lait color, and it fit great everywhere for the most part. The XL was the better size. The color was great for the semi-tan white skin I have; most colors are so pale that they show through which these didn't. My only issues were that it is way too long for my torso (came past my boobs -- VERY high-waisted) which caused it to roll down, and it almost felt like tearing when pulling them up and down. The nice thing is that the torso being too long was basically remedied by adjusting it to not be pulled up as high, and this didn't cause it to wrinkle at all. Highly recommend!!Awful fit, felt uncomfy, did not smooth my fat out but just made my roundness more defined by like a snowman, with different layers! 100% would not recommend. Turns out the only way for me to not look fat is to... erm... not be fat I guess.I’ve used several of these types of products in the past and I found this one hard to get on, I had to get my partner to help! I ordered a medium as I’m a size 12 and I would say it was on the small side. Once on, they did their job pretty well. However the major drawback of this product is the fact that the top rolls down almost immediately down to the waist, defeating the purpose of them. Had to tuck under my bra but still rolled down. I wouldn’t wear again due to this.I was actually a bit disappointed with these. I’ve had spanks in the past and always rated the fact they don’t roll down at the top. These however rolled down as soon as I tried them on and left me with a very unflattering bump under my bust. I’m a size 12-14 so I ordered the size M which is what I have used in the past. They work really well as you would expect. My only issue is spanx don't do a wide range in colours to match my skin toneIt’s a great product in the sense that it does give great shaping however as soon as you move, the back starts to roll down even though there is a strip of silicone, if this one thing was fixed then it’d be perfect
